Eintracht Frankfurt striker Omar Marmoush reportedly dreams of joining Liverpool or Arsenal ahead of West Ham United, and the Egypt international sent a message to the Reds and Gunners with his performance against Bayern Munich on Sunday.
The Hammers have been linked with the 25-year-old, while Nottingham Forest and Fulham once had him on their radar, but it is a move to Arsenal or Liverpool that appeals more to Marmoush, and he boosted his chances of attracting those bigwigs and many others with a man-of-the-match performance this weekend.
He headed into the Bundesliga game as the current highest goalscorer in the German top-flight, with six goals to his name in five league appearances, and he further consolidated his position at the top of the goalscoring charts with a brace against Bayern.
Marmoush drew his side level in the 22nd minute before helping to put them ahead with his fourth league assist of the campaign in the 35th minute.
Bayern were 3-2 up heading into the end of the game, but the Egyptian forward notched a 94th-minute equaliser to deny the visitors all three points, and such performances going forward will alert both Arsenal and Liverpool.
Frankfurt are unwilling to sell Marmoush in January, but they want around €40-50 million from suitors ahead of the next summer window, and that fee could increase if he keeps scoring at this rate.
The North Londoners and Reds will look to bolster their attacking ranks next summer or even during the winter transfer window if need be ahead of the second half of the campaign, and they could come calling for the hitman if he continues to impress.
He sent the perfect message to both Arsenal and Liverpool this evening, and West Ham will also be monitoring his situation as they could do with such a player in front of goal right now.
