Aston Villa secured a massive 1-0 victory in the Champions League against Bayern Munich on Wednesday night at Villa Park.
Prior to the game, Simon Jordan predicted on talkSPORT (1 October) that Villa might win the tie and that Jhon Duran would make an impact.
Jim White praised Jordan on talkSPORT for getting his prediction right. He said Jordan deserves “credit” for pointing out that Villa might beat the German giants.
Under an electrifying atmosphere at Villa Park, the players rose to the occasion and produced a superb performance as the club secured back-to-back wins in the Champions League.

It was an important win for Villa, and they will feel confident of reaching the next stage of this competition.
At the same time, Villa are expected to challenge for the top four yet again. While some pundits may tip them to challenge for the Premier League title, that is highly unlikely.
The problem Villa could face this season is that they might struggle at some point to balance both domestic and European commitments. They have added depth to their squad, but whether Emery would be able to rotate the squad and get desired results remains to be seen.
Villa fans must enjoy this moment and take one game at a time. They are doing incredibly well at the moment, and Emery deserves a lot of praise for the massive turnaround at the club.
