Everton have struggled badly with injuries this season and Sean Dyche will be fuming after hearing the news that another Toffees player has picked up an injury while playing for his country.
The Toffees are already without Seamus Coleman, Nathan Patterson, Vitaly Mykolenko, and Jarrad Branthwaite due to injuries, and the last thing Dyche needs is another injury update from the international camp.
Likewise, Armando Broja, the summer signing from Chelsea, is yet to play a game due to injury, and it is still unknown when he can return to action.
It looks like another Everton player could be added to the long injury list, as Iliman Ndiaye has picked up an injury while playing for Senegal against Malawi.
It would be a massive blow for Everton if Iliman Ndiaye picks up serious knock
Ndiaye has been terrific for the Toffees this season. Since joining in the summer transfer window from Marseille, he has been one of the standout performers for the club.
His impressive ball control, dribbling abilities, and willingness to carry the ball forward bring excitement among the fans.
The 24-year-old attacking midfielder has only scored two goals for Everton in all competitions so far, but his impact on the pitch has been immense.
Football pundits have been blown away by his qualities, and losing him for a few games would be a massive blow for the club, especially at a time when Everton are showing signs of recovery after a poor start to the season.
Iliman Ndiaye shines for Senegal
The winger was taken off in the 65th minute. He received treatment on the pitch, and it became clear that he wouldn’t be able to continue.
While it is not clear about the condition of the injury sustained, it didn’t look good the way he came off the pitch.
He was still arguably the best player for Senegal, as they won 4-0. He registered a passing accuracy of 90% and provided an assist during the game.
Dyche will be frustrated if Ndiaye picks up a serious injury, as he is someone who can really make a big difference for the Toffees this season.
