Tottenham Hotspur player ratings v Crystal Palace

Tottenham lost 1-0 to Crystal Palace in the Premier League at Selhurst Park in the London derby.

Ange Postecoglou’s side lacked creativity and didn’t create enough clear-cut chances.

In defence, Spurs looked shaky at the back, with Micky van de Ven enduring a torrid time on the pitch.

Here, Sports View have rated the Tottenham players out of 10 for their performances at Selhurst Park.

Guglielmo Vicario – 6

Erratic with his passing throughout the game, he looked shaky when pressed hard by Palace forwards. He made some fantastic saves in the second half, including one to deny Adam Wharton.

Pedro Porro – 6

Tried an outrageous effort from distance but couldn’t get it on target in the first half. In the second half, played out a brilliant pass to Kulusevki but Henderson made a brilliant save.

Cristian Romero – 6

The Argentine was solid at the back, and some good clearances. He did really well to block Eze in one-on-one situations towards the end.

Micky van de Ven – 2

The Dutchman made a poor clearance that allowed Munoz to provide a cross from the right-hand side, leading to the goal. He was outfoxed by Eze inside the box in an embarrassing manner. Picked up a yellow card.

Destiny Udogie – 6

The Spurs left-back made some fantastic blocks, and nearly provided an assist for Maddison whose effort was saved by Henderson.

Harly got involved in the game. Picked up a yellow card. Nearly got a goal in the second half from close range but was denied by Henderson.

Yves Bissouma – 5

James Maddison – 7

The most creative player for Spurs once again, as he tried to play out some smart passes from midfield. Nearly got a goal in the first half, denied by Henderson.

Brennan Johnson – 5

Despite keeping loads of possession, Spurs couldn’t create enough clear-cut chances. Played out a fantastic pass to Porro,

Dominic Solanke – 3
