Southampton are looking to secure deals for two exciting talents but face competition from elsewhere.

The likes of Theo Walcott, Adam Lallana, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, and James Ward-Prowse are all products of the club’s famous academy, and irrespective of league position, they are always on the lookout to nurture fresh talents.
It appears that they have spotted two exciting young players from Scotland but face competition from Celtic and West Ham United.
Southampton have sent spies to check on two youngsters in recent weeks
According to journalist Alan Nixon, Southampton are chasing Airdrie’s young midfielders Cole and Dylan Williams.
Celtic have been checking on those two young players as well and have taken a “big interest” in them.
The pair recently stood against the Bhoys at the youth level. The twins are 16 years of age, and they have been in “electrifying” form.
Nixon says that the pair can quit the club as they are on short-term agreements. The Saints have sent spies to Scotland twice in recent weeks and are leading the race.
Southampton need to improve after the international break
The Saints have dropped to the bottom of the Premier League after losing 2-0 against Wolves before the international break.
They have managed just one win in the league thus far and are struggling to score. Southampton have scored only seven goals this season, and this is one area they need to improve.
Russell Martin is under a lot of pressure at the moment, and he might struggle to keep his job if the results do not improve.
There have been suggestions that David Moyes could be interested in managing one of those bottom clubs in crisis, but Simon Jordan says that the former West Ham boss won’t be a perfect fit for Southampton.
