Tottenham Hotspur sold a few fringe players in the summer transfer window who were not in Ange Postecoglou’s first-team plans.
Spurs, however, are unlikely to sell any more players in the winter transfer window.
Richarlison is the most sellable asset at the club, but he hasn’t played much this season and will be out for some time with a hamstring injury.
There is also plenty of interest in Radu Dragusin from clubs in Italy.
According to Jack Pitt-Brooke of The Athletic, Napoli are especially showing interest in signing the 22-year-old Romanian defender.
However, there is “no prospect” of Spurs letting the defender go in the January transfer window.
Dragusin wants to fight for his place and develop under Postecoglou.
Radu Dragusin has been impressive in recent games
The former Genoa defender was struggling for regular game time this season.
Cristian Romero and Micky van de Ven are first-choice defenders under Postecoglou, and Dragusin has often found it hard to break into the side.
However, both Romero and Van de Ven are currently injured. Dragusin and Ben Davies have been starting in central defence at the moment.
It may appear that Tottenham do not have enough depth at the back, and another defender is needed.
However, that is probably not the case. Dragusin has shown big improvements in recent weeks, while summer signing Archie Gray can fit in if required.
The Romanian defender has now made four starts in the Premier League and should make the best use of the time before either Romero or Van de Ven returns.
A move away from the north London club looks highly unlikely in the January window for him.
