Daniel Levy must not heed Jamie O’Hara’s advice about Ange Postecoglou at Tottenham Hotspur

Tottenham Hotspur were 2-0 up against Chelsea after just 11 minutes on Sunday evening, but then Ange Postecoglou’s side collapsed and suffered a 4-3 defeat at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

It was the 11th time that Tottenham lost a Premier League game after having been two or more goals ahead.

Former Tottenham player and talkSPORT pundit Jamie O’Hara was furious with the way Spurs crumbled and made it clear on social media that he wants Postecoglou to leave his role as the Spurs head coach.

TalkSPORT pundit Alan Pardew has already suggested a potential replacement for Postecoglou, as fans are not happy at all with how things are going under the former Celtic manager.

Tottenham are seven points off the fourth spot in the Premier League table. It is going to be hard for the North London club to end up in the UEFA Champions League places this season.

Daniel Levy should not sack Tottenham Hotspur head coach Ange Postecoglou

However, Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy should not make a knee-jerk reaction and sack Postecoglou even if results do not improve in the coming weeks.

Spurs have some tough games coming up. After facing Rangers at Ibrox in the League Stage of the UEFA Europa League on Thursday evening, they will face Southampton, who are fighting for survival in the Premier League.

Manchester United will then come to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, while just before Christmas, Liverpool will pay Spurs a visit in North London.

Tottenham will take on Nottingham Forest away from home at the City Ground in the Premier League on Boxing Day before facing relegation-threatened Wolverhampton Wanderers.

The way Tottenham failed to win against Fulham, lost to Bournemouth and collapsed against Chelsea means that the fans cannot say for sure that the team will win against the likes of Southampton, Wolves and Rangers.

However, Spurs chairman Levy needs to keep faith in Postecoglou and not sack him just yet. After all, who is the alternative?

Tottenham finished just two points off the final UEFA Champions League spot last season. The North London club played wonderful football as well.

True, Postecoglou needs to change his style a bit and be defensively more pragmatic, but you do not sack a manager just because of a few bad results.
