Rangers will take on Dundee in the Scottish Premiership on Saturday at Ibrox.
The Gers will have to shake off the disappointment of their Scottish League Cup final loss against Celtic and look forward to the challenges ahead.
Rangers were brilliant against the Bhoys last Sunday and matched their rivals toe-to-toe. They took the game to the wire and made it 3-3 at extra time and only lost 5-4 on penalties.
The Bears have made huge improvements in recent weeks, and there is enough evidence to suggest that the team is finally responding to Philippe Clement’s system.
It is futile to talk about closing the gap with Celtic, as they are still way behind. Rangers can only look to win every game from here on and gradually crawl back into the title race.
Ahead of the match, Clement has confirmed that there are no fresh injury worries from the previous game, but he could still make a few changes to the starting line-up.
Rangers predicted XI v Dundee
Jack Butland will continue in goal and will expect to keep a clean sheet once again. He kept clean sheets in his previous three Scottish Premiership games.
With John Souttar out injured, Rangers could look to sign a new defender in January.
The defensive partnership of Robin Propper and Dujon Sterling looked very solid at the back against Celtic. While Leon Balogun remains a major option for Clement, the senior defender can be dropped at Ibrox for the weekend clash.
Jefte struggled in the last game. The young defender could be rested, with Ridvan Yilmaz getting the nod ahead of him.
A few weeks ago, James Tavernier was drifting into obscurity. The Gers skipper has regained his old form, and he is undroppable at the moment.
Nico Raskin and Mohamed Diomande were immense in the cup final, and they should continue in midfield.
Ianis Hagi, Vaclav Cerny, and Hamza Igamane were all brilliant in the previous game, and they must retain their places.
Danilo scored the important equaliser when he came on in the last game, and he should replace Nedim Bajrami in the starting line-up on Saturday.
Bajrami, 25, works his socks off, but Danilo can provide an extra bit of quality.
Predicted Rangers starting XI v Dundee: Butland, Tavernier, Propper, Sterling, Yilmaz, Diomande, Raskin, Hagi, Cerny, Igamane, Danilo.
