AC Milan eye January loan move for Man Utd forward Marcus Rashford

Manchester United are willing to offload Marcus Rashford in the January transfer window, and several clubs in Europe are vying for his signature.

The Red Devils striker is out of favour under Ruben Amorim, and he has made it clear that he is ready for fresh challenges in his career.

According to a report from the Daily Mail, Serie A giants AC Milan are looking to sign Rashford on loan in January.

United ideally want to sell him for a fee of around £40 million. His £325,000-per-week wage is also a major stumbling block for other potential suitors to sign him.

The Red Devils, however, are also willing to send him out on loan with an obligation to buy offers, and several clubs have registered interest.

The 27-year-old striker is likely to miss United’s trip to Anfield on Sunday due to illness.

Marcus Rashford looks set for Old Trafford exit in the near future

Rashford was left out of Amorim’s squad for four games because of his poor performance in training and his attitude around his teammates.

Serie A title contenders Napoli are also thought to be interested in signing him, but United have made it clear that any potential club will have to pay his wages.

AC Milan are struggling in the Serie A this season. They are eighth in the league and are not scoring freely, with Rafael Leao and Christian Pulisic picking up injuries.

Former United striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic has been tasked to find solutions, and he has put forward Rashford’s name.

Recently, he turned down approaches from Saudi Pro League clubs, and he wants to continue playing in major European leagues.

United are desperate to offload a few players, including Rashford, but concrete opportunities may not arrive for the striker before next summer.

Rashford has spent his entire senior career to date at Man Utd and has made 426 appearances, where he has scored 138 goals and has provided 63 assists.
