Alejandro Garnacho’s stance on leaving Manchester United after Ruben Amorim decision

Manchester United winger Alejandro Garnacho is frustrated with his lack of chances under Ruben Amorim and is open to leaving Old Trafford.

That is according to The Daily Star, which has claimed that a potential exit for Garnacho could pave the way for United to sign Bryan Mbeumo from Premier League rivals Brentford.

United are expected to sell a number of their players at the end of the season, and one of them could be Garnacho.

The report has claimed that the Argentina international winger is open to leaving United, having become increasingly frustrated at head coach Amorim’s decision not to use him in the starting line-up on a regular basis since he took charge of the first team in November.

Manchester United should keep Alejandro Garnacho

Garnacho is not having the best of times, but that does not mean that United should cash in on him, either in the January transfer window or in the summer of 2025.

The Argentine is only 20 and has done well on many occasions. Yes, he is inconsistent, but that is what you would expect from someone so young.

Garnacho has huge potential, and it is important that United keep him, or at least try to. It would not be a good look for the former Premier League and UEFA Champions League winners if they sold Garnacho in the summer of 2025 and he went on to flourish somewhere else.

While Amorim should be given the license to use whichever players he wants, it is important for the United hierarchy to try to keep hold of their best young talents.

Garnacho has scored 13 goals and given seven assists in 76 appearances in the Premier League so far this season.

The £53,000-a-week (SalarySport) winger has found the back of the net eight times and has given four assists in 29 matches in all competitions for United so far this campaign.
