The Italian international’s performances have also earned him a spot in the national team, with three substitute appearances at the 2024 European Championship.
This season, Cambiaso has contributed two goals and two assists in 25 appearances across all competitions for Juventus, cementing his reputation as one of Italy’s most promising full-backs.
Manchester City’s January transfer window has been unusually active as they try and salvage a disappointing 2024/25 season.
Brazilian teenage sensation Vitor Reis is undergoing medicals ahead of his move from Palmeiras.
Meanwhile, the club has already agreed a €40 million (£33.6 million) deal with Lens for Uzbekistan defender Abdukodir Khusanov.
City are also locked in negotiations with Eintracht Frankfurt over striker Omar Marmoush. They have reportedly agreed a deal in principle for Marmoush.
