Manchester City have reached an “agreement in principle” to sign Eintracht Frankfurt attacker Omar Marmoush, according to Fabrice Hawkins.
The RMC Sport journalist has claimed on X today that Man City have finally reached an agreement to sign the 25-year-old versatile midfielder, but he hasn’t mentioned the terms of the deal.
City have already submitted a bid to sign the Egyptian attacker but it was below Frankfurt’s valuation.
According to Sky Sports, the German club are looking at a fee of around £67 million for Marmoush.
Hawkins says that the final terms of the deal are being sorted at the moment, but the player has agreed to move to Man City. As it stands, he will not play the next game against Borussia Dortmund.

Pep Guardiola’s side has badly struggled this season, with injuries to key players have almost ended their title hopes.
The Premier League champions are looking to get into the top four this season, and Guardiola is looking to add more quality to an already star-studded squad.
Marmoush has been enjoying a stellar campaign for Frankfurt. He joined on a free transfer, and Frankfurt will consider this as one of the greatest transfer deals in their history if he secures the move at the price they want.
He has scored 20 goals and provided 11 assists in all competitions for the German side.
City are also close to signing both Palmeiras defender Vitor Reis and Lens centre-back Abdukodir Khusanov this month.
Reis is travelling to the UK to complete his move after City had reached a £29.4m agreement in principle to sign the 19-year-old prospect on Wednesday. As per Sky Sports, no bonuses are set to be included in the deal.
Khusanov is due in the UK to complete a £33.5m transfer from Lens.
