Tottenham Hotspur lead chase to sign Randal Kolo Muani

Tottenham Hotspur are emerging as a leading contender to sign Randal Kolo Muani on loan from Paris Saint-Germain in the January transfer window.

According to David Ornstein of The Athletic, Spurs are actively exploring a “January deal” to sign the 26-year-old forward, who is likely to move this month.

He is the best versatile attacker currently in the market, and Kolo Muani’s representatives have been made aware of the admiration from Spurs, among other clubs.

Manchester United and Juventus are also in the race for his signature, with Fabrizio Romano reporting that the player is due to leave this month.

Spurs are expected to be very busy in the summer window, and they have already secured their first signing in the form of Antonin Kinsky, who joined from Slavia Prague.

More players are expected to arrive at the Tottenham Hotspur stadium in the January window, with Postecoglou looking to turn the tide after a disappointing run of form.

Randal Kolo Muani would be a cracking signing on loan for Spurs

While Spurs need to sign new defenders, they should aim at bolstering the forward department at the same time.

Dominic Solanke has looked impressive in recent months, but both Son Heung-Min and Timo Werner have struggled this season.

Richarlison and Wilson Odobert are out injured, which means Spurs are lacking depth in their forward areas.

Kolo Muani can play across all positions in the forward line. He can score goals, and the Frenchman would add tremendous quality upfront.

The 27-time French international scored 26 goals in 50 games for Eintracht Frankfurt, which earned him a move to PSG in the summer of 2023. The Ligue 1 champions paid a massive €90 million for him, but he has found game time limited this season.

He has a contract at the French club until 2028, and a loan move suits all parties involved.
