West Ham United are keen on signing Celtic striker Daniel Cummings as Hammers manager Graham Potter looks to bolster his attacking ranks, according to Italian transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.
The London Stadium club are currently without Niclas Fullkrug, Michail Antonio and Jarrod Bowen due to injuries, and they need to bring in a forward to boost their chances of ending 2024-25 well.
Cummings has caught the eye of West Ham after bagging 24 goals in 24 games for the Celtic youth team so far this season, but they will face competition from Brighton & Hove Albion, while the Scottish Premiership club want to hand him a new deal.
🚨 West Ham and Brighton are both keen on signing 18 year old Celtic striker Daniel Cummings, with Celtic pushing for him to stay and sign new deal.

The 18-year-old sensation is out of a deal at Celtic at the end of the season and is free to agree to a pre-contract with suitors this month.
Apart from West Ham and Brighton, the likes of Brentford, Wolverhampton Wanderers, Fulham, Ipswich Town, Sunderland and Burnley are also keen on recruiting his services.
The Hoops starlet has proven himself against some of the best youth teams on the continent, but whether he can replicate those heroics at senior team level remains to be seen.
Celtic want to keep him, but the opportunity to move to the Premier League could be more appealing as manager Brendan Rodgers has refused to give him a chance with the first-team, and the Hoops could expect to earn between £230,000 and £330,000 in training compensation if he leaves.
West Ham need a player capable of coming in and immediately making an impact in their bid to impress this term, and it remains to be seen whether Cummings is their man.
However, his huge potential and talents cannot be denied and he could prove to be a great signing for the future should they land him.
