There are no whispers of imminent change within the club hierarchy, but with United slowly drifting into a relegation battle, the Portuguese manager may not last long enough for the trip to the Bridge on May 18.
The last time the Blues squared off against United, Bruno Fernandes broke the deadlock on the 70-minute mark, but Moises Caicedo levelled matters four minutes later before both sides settled for a share of the spoils.
