Everton agree deal with Bayern Munich to sign Adam Aznou

Everton have agreed a deal with Bayern Munich to sign teenage left-back Adam Aznou.

The Toffees are preparing for life at the Hill Dickinson Stadium, and the 19-year-old Bundesliga starlet is set to join them soon after their £8 million bid was accepted.

Aznou has also been given a green light to undergo a medical ahead of completing a move to the Toffees, and an official announcement could be made soon.

The Bobble is a reliable Everton insider followed by Alan Myers, Jason Burt and Christopher Beesley on social media.

The account reported via X on Saturday that the deal is nearly done. Manager David Moyes will be pleased to finalise the deal.

The Morocco international will provide Vitalii Mykolenko with much-needed quality competition and cover at the left-back spot.

He will fancy his chances of playing regularly, despite featuring just four times across all competitions for Bayern last term.

Everton have signed Thierno Barry from Villarreal this summer. Charly Alcaraz has joined permanently after an impressive loan spell last term, and goalkeeper Mark Travers has also been signed.

They are now well stocked at left-back following the departure of Ashley Young at the end of last term, and Aznou will be desperate to prove himself.

He spent the second half of last term on loan with Real Valladolid, featuring in 13 games. They were relegated from La Liga at the end of the season.
