Alan Myers says leaving the new Everton stadium as a fan is difficult

Everton secured a 2-0 victory over Fulham at the Hill Dickinson Stadium today, with goals from Idrissa Gueye and Michael Keane securing their fourth Premier League win of the season.

The Toffees have only lost once at their new home this season, winning four times and drawing twice across all competitions.

While manager David Moyes will hope his men can continue to make the stadium a fortress, not everyone is impressed with the venue.

Journalist Alan Myers is not pleased with how tricky it is for fans to navigate leaving the ground after games.

The former Everton head of media and director of communications was at the game and posted about problems with the exit routes before deleting his comments.

Building such an architectural masterpiece on the Bramley-Moore Dock has been commended, but Everton did not get everything right.

Fans have complained about crossing the bridge situated on one of the roads leading up to the stadium.

The bridge, located a five-minute walk away from the stadium and not on club property, cannot handle a certain amount of weight at any given time.

Everton must find a way to quickly resolve the issue, as they cannot afford to keep inconveniencing the fans attending their games.

The Toffees return to action after the international break with a trip to Old Trafford to take on Manchester United on November 24.

They host Newcastle United five days later, and fans will hope their access to the ground is a little smoother.
