Tottenham Hotspur striker Randal Kolo Muani is reportedly attracting transfer interest despite struggling for form, according to journalist Fabrizio Romano.
Spurs are currently not giving the green light to his exit after Juventus called to ask about his situation.
Tottenham signed Kolo Muani on loan last summer, but his time at the club has been quite underwhelming.
The 27-year-old has bagged only two goals and three assists in 23 appearances and has failed to convince.
However, with Richarlison currently injured and Dominic Solanke never far away from the treatment table, it makes sense to keep him.
Kolo Muani fails to fire
Signing a replacement this late in the transfer window will be difficult, as there are limited options on the market.
If Tottenham’s recruitment team can identify and secure a replacement who offers presence, reliability, or even a different tactical dimension, it may be worth the punt.
Kolo Muani offers little physical presence through the middle, no real authority in the box, and his finishing has too often been tentative when Tottenham need conviction.
For a side that already struggles to turn dominance into goals, carrying a forward who neither stretches defences nor intimidates centre-backs feels like a luxury.
If the club could prise Jorgen Strand Larsen away from Wolverhampton Wanderers, they should not think twice about binning the Frenchman.
The Norwegian striker offers something different to Dominic Solanke and would be perfect for manager Thomas Frank’s direct style of play.
