West Ham United currently have no plans to sack Nuno Espirito Santo if they lose to Nottingham Forest

West Ham United manager Nuno Espirito Santo is under increasing pressure following a disappointing 3-0 defeat to Wolverhampton Wanderers on Saturday.

The Hammers return to action at home to Nottingham Forest tomorrow.

It is a huge six-pointer for both teams, but West Ham will not part ways with their manager if they lose to his former club, according to the Guardian journalist Jacob Steinberg.

West Ham are ready to support Nuno in the transfer market and have already signed Portuguese striker Pablo from Gil Vicente.

There are plans to sign more players, and their manager will be expected to keep them up at the end of the season.

A victory against Forest will be a huge boost, as it would move the Hammers closer to safety.

They host Queens Park Rangers in the FA Cup third round on Sunday before travelling to face Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League the following Saturday.

West Ham have won just three Premier League games all season, losing 12 times and drawing the other five.

Nuno has overseen two of their victories this term since his arrival in September, with eight defeats and five draws to his name.

They parted ways with Graham Potter after just five league games this term and may need to fire Nuno if things don’t improve over the next few weeks.
