Tottenham Hotspur are in talks to appoint Igor Tudor as their new manager until the end of the season, according to Sky Sports Italy journalist Gianluca Di Marzio.
The Tottenham Hotspur Stadium club held talks with the former Juventus boss this morning, offering him a short-term deal.
Spurs have eyes on a couple of managers but would prefer an interim appointment before making a call on a permanent boss in the summer.
Tudor is currently weighing his options and will give Tottenham a reply in the coming hours.
He was with Juve until last October, and while he has never managed in the Premier League before, he could be perfect for Spurs given his huge experience.
The 47-year-old Croatian has managed Marseille, Galatasaray and Udinese, and a move to Tottenham could appeal to him.
Tudor would prefer a permanent job, but he knows he has a chance of getting the Spurs gig permanently if he impresses in the coming months.
He is not the only one on their radar as they look to replace Thomas Frank. The club have also added Edin Terzic and Marco Rose to their list of potential candidates to succeed the Dane.
They want a new man in charge by next Monday, when their players return to training from a five-day break, and an appointment could be made this weekend.
Tottenham are five points away from the relegation zone following a woeful campaign under Frank.
