Arsenal forward Leandro Trossard was reportedly not with the squad earlier today on their pre-match walk ahead of the Everton game.
The Belgian did not feature against Bayer Leverkusen in the Champions League in Germany on Wednesday.
Manager Mikel Arteta revealed afterwards that he was not comfortable despite training the previous day.
Trossard sustained a knock in the first-half of the FA Cup game against Mansfield Town last Saturday and was unable to continue after going down.
He returned to training on Tuesday but was not fit enough to feature against Leverkusen, and it appears the Everton game has come too early for him.
Arsenal are also without Martin Odegaard, but will still fancy their chances of picking up all three points today.
A victory would be huge for the club, as it would bring them closer to clinching the Premier League title.
They have just eight league games left this season and will become champions if they win seven of them and Manchester City do not drop points.
Arsenal need all their top players available, and Arteta will hope Trossard and Odegaard return soon.
