The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced a 15-member squad for the three-match one-day international (ODI) series against Bangladesh.
Senior players Babar Azam and Shadab Khan have not been included in the squad after their poor performances in the T20 World Cup 2026.
Shaheen Shah Afridi will continue as the team’s ODI captain, while Salman Ali Agha, Faheem Ashraf and Abrar Ahmed have retained their places.
Wicketkeeper batsman Mohammad Rizwan has returned to the squad, but Saim Ayub has been overlooked for the series.
Six uncapped players have also been named – Sahibzada Farhan, Abdul Samad, Maaz Sadaqat, Muhammad Ghazi Ghori, Saad Masood and Shamyl Hussain.
Farhan was Pakistan’s best batsman at the T20 World Cup, scoring an incredible 383 runs in six innings.
The 29-year-old hit two centuries against Namibia and Sri Lanka, thus becoming the first-ever player in the history of the tournament to score two hundreds in the same edition.
Pakistan will arrive in Bangladesh on March 8 and hold a training session two days later.
The Green Shirts will play their first game at the Shere Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Dhaka the following day.
The two sides will meet for their second ODI on March 13, while the third and final fixture is scheduled for March 15.
Pakistan last visited Bangladesh for a three-game T20I series in July, which they lost 2-1. The Tigers toured their neighbours last year, with the hosts dominating the series 3-0.
