Arsenal are one of the clubs interested in signing Bournemouth striker Eli Junior Kroupi in the summer, according to talkSPORT.
The 19-year-old has captured the attention of Gunners boss Mikel Arteta, who could now look to bring him to the Emirates Stadium.
Kroupi scored home and away against Arsenal and Manchester United this season, and both clubs are keen to sign him. Manchester City are also in the running.
Kroupi does not have a release clause in his Cherries contract after arriving in a £10 million deal last year.
However, Bournemouth could demand a big fee to sell the teenage striking sensation.
The Gunners have Atletico Madrid’s Julian Alvarez as their top target in the position, but it could cost £86m (€100m) to tempt them into doing business.
Kroupi will not cost that much, and the opportunity to play Champions League football and challenge for the Premier League could appeal to him.
Arsenal are expected to sell either Gabriel Jesus or Kai Havertz this summer to make room for another striker.
Kroupi has proven himself after just one year in the Premier League, but he is far from a one-season wonder as he notched 22 goals in 30 Ligue 2 games last term.
He could be perfect for the Gunners’ attack given his ability on the ball, but pipping the competition in the race to sign him could be tricky.
