Aston Villa could sell John McGinn if they sign Fulham star Harry Wilson

Aston Villa could sell John McGinn this summer if they sign Fulham star Harry Wilson, according to the Sun.

Everton are interested in signing the Villa captain. They are also monitoring the situation of Tottenham Hotspur star Conor Gallagher.

The Villa star has spent eight seasons at Villa, but could now be sold if they sign Wilson.

The 29-year-old was on their radar during the winter transfer window, but Fulham decided to hold on to him. They will lose him for free at the end of the season.

He has weighed in with ten goals and six assists in 34 league games this season and would be a great signing for Villa.

Leeds United and other suitors will come for Wilson, but the availability of Champions League football at Villa could be the deciding factor.

A 4-2 victory over Liverpool on Friday night ensured Unai Emery’s men secured a spot in the league phase of the elite European competition next term.

They are also in the Europa League final, where they face Bundesliga club SC Freiburg on Wednesday, and joining them could appeal to the Fulham star.

Villa will look to challenge for the Premier League title next term, and signing Wilson and a couple of top players could boost their chances.

The Welshman plays centrally and in attack, and his experience and quality are top-notch.
