Liverpool are now ready to cash in on midfielder Curtis Jones, who is wanted by Serie A giants Inter Milan and several Premier League clubs.
The Times claims that Liverpool are demanding at least £35 million for the England international.
Liverpool are set for another busy summer in the transfer market. Mohamed Salah and Andrew Robertson are leaving the club, while Ibrahima Konate could follow them.
Jones is now attracting attention from clubs in the Premier League and abroad.
He jas one year left on his contract with Liverpool, and there haven’t been any talks about an extension.
Having already lost three players on free transfers, Liverpool are keen to avoid a similar situation with Jones and are ready to cash in.
The 25-year-old progressed through Liverpool’s academy before establishing himself in the first team.
Jones has made 228 appearances for Liverpool, contributing 22 goals and 25 assists. He also featured 49 times in all competitions during the 2025/26 campaign.
The ‘outstanding’ midfielder was once described as a ‘complete’ player by manager Arne Slot, but his reluctance to commit his future to Liverpool could force him out this summer.
Several Premier League clubs are weighing up a move for Jones, including Tottenham Hotspur, Newcastle United and Aston Villa.
However, Inter are believed to be the most interested club in Jones at the moment, but they’re not ready to match Liverpool’s asking price.
The Serie A champions are only ready to pay around £25m for Jones, which could scupper their chances of finalising a deal.
