West Ham United midfielder Mateus Fernandes was not intended to be one of the players returning for pre-season training next Monday, according to the BBC.

Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur are both keen on Fernandes, and he has no preference as he prepares to leave the London Stadium.
His agent Jorge Mendes is speaking to both clubs.
West Ham want £80 million for the midfielder, and Spurs are believed to be keen on meeting their demands.
Fernandes will not be the only player leaving West Ham this summer, with Callum Wilson in talks over a move to Brentford.
The English striker is out of contract at the end of today and will be free to join any club from next month.
