Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool have joined Arsenal in the race for Lille star Ayyoub Bouaddi, according to French outlet Foot Mercato.
Liverpool executives were at New York’s MetLife Stadium specifically to watch Bouaddi play in Morocco’s World Cup opening game against Brazil on Saturday.
The Anfield club have added the 18-year-old to their summer wishlist but will face fierce competition for his services.
Arsenal and Spurs, Paris Saint-Germain and Chelsea are also closely monitoring the teenager.
Bouaddi was one of the best players on the pitch in the 1-1 draw between Morocco and Brazil.
The Lille star completed 60 passes and had 86 touches, the most of any player.
He also completed three successful dribbles, showing confidence whenever he had the ball.
A Premier League move could be on the cards, and joining Arsenal could be more appealing to him after they won the title last month.
Lille are in no rush to sell Bouaddi and have valued him at about £60 million.
Liverpool and Spurs could be willing to meet their demands, but his value could skyrocket before the end of the tournament.
Morocco face Scotland and Haiti in their remaining Group C games and will fancy their chances of progressing to the knockout stage after reaching the semi-finals four years ago.
