Arsenal have reportedly agreed personal terms in principle with Real Madrid attacker Vinicius Junior.
His agency, Roc Nation, will enter into talks with Madrid following the ‘monstrous offer’ from the Gunners.
He has just a year left on his contract with Madrid, and the two parties have not reached an agreement on an extension.
Vinicius’ quality and experience would boost Arsenal’s attacking options. Bringing him to the Emirates Stadium would also be hugely financially beneficial to the club.
They would make plenty of money from the sales of his jerseys, and more fans will be eager to pay to watch him play for the team at home or away.
He could join Arsenal on tour, and they would fancy their chances of hitting the ground running next season with him in their ranks.
The reigning Premier League champions are willing to give Vinicius the biggest contract in the history of the club.
The 26-year-old currently earns £400,000 per week at Madrid, and he could become the highest-paid player in the English top-flight if he joins Arsenal this summer.
