Manchester United still want a third midfielder, a left winger and a forward to enhance squad depth

Manchester United are planning to make three more signings this summer after completing three deals this week, according to the Sun.

The Red Devils signed midfielder Andrey Santos yesterday and have announced a deal for goalkeeper Karl Darlow today.

They have triggered a £35 million release clause in Youri Tielemans’ Aston Villa contract and he began the first phase of his medical on Monday.

He could be announced as a Man United player before the end of the week, and manager Michael Carrick is expecting more signings.

The Red Devils want a third midfielder, a left winger and a forward to enhance their squad depth ahead of next season’s return to the Champions League.

Most people did not see the Tielemans deal coming, and more surprises could be on the cards.

Marcus Rashford is expected to be sold, and a replacement is being lined up.

West Ham United’s Crysencio Summerville is a target, but Man United fans will not be surprised if the club end up signing a different player.

Benjamin Sesko needs competition, and several number nines have been linked with the club.

Brighton & Hove Albion’s Danny Welbeck, Al-Ahli’s Ivan Toney and Brentford’s Igor Thiago are reportedly on the Red Devils’ radar.

They have signed three top players, and adding three more quality players in those aforementioned positions could make a huge difference for Man United next term.
