Real Madrid are willing to sell Aurelien Tchouameni to Manchester United

Real Madrid are willing to sell France international midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni to Manchester United this summer, according to the Sun.

He joined the La Liga club in a €100 million deal in 2022, and Manchester City star Rodri has been identified as his potential replacement.

Man United may have to break the bank to sign Tchouameni, with Madrid reportedly insistent that they receive a premium fee to sanction a sale.

The 26-year-old has reportedly agreed a contract extension with Madrid. However, there has been no formal announcement, and a move to Old Trafford could now be pursued.

The Red Devils have signed Andrey Santos and Youri Tielemans this summer, but manager Michael Carrick still wants a specialist defensive midfielder.

Tchouameni has proven himself as one of the best midfielders in the world, and he could be the perfect option to replace Casemiro.

He was one of the best players at the World Cup, helping France reach the semi-finals.

Man United could do with such a calibre of midfielder in their ranks, and getting a deal over the line for him would be a major positive.
