Tottenham Hotspur handed Eli Junior Kroupi boost as Bournemouth in advanced talks to sign Alvaro Rodriguez

Tottenham Hotspur have been handed a huge boost in their pursuit of Bournemouth striker Eli Junior Kroupi.

The Cherries are preparing for life without the 20-year-old and are in advanced talks to sign Elche forward Alvaro Rodriguez.

Tottenham are planning to hold talks with Kroupi’s representatives again and Bournemouth are expected to demand at least £90 million.

Kroupi is open to joining Spurs, and they believe getting a deal done is very possible.

Rodriguez and Kroupi play in the same position, and Bournemouth are unlikely to want both players in their squad next season.

Spurs will be monitoring the situation, but they are not the only club interested in securing his services.

He bagged 13 goals in 33 Premier League games last term and has also been linked with Arsenal.

The Tottenham target broke the Premier League record for most goals scored by a teenager in his debut season and could be perfect competition for Dominic Solanke.

Spurs have strengthened at the back and in midfield this summer and are now set to focus on revamping their attack.
