Aston Villa have discussed signing Jack Grealish again

Aston Villa have discussed the idea of signing Jack Grealish again, according to the Sun.

The Midlands club are preparing to sell Leon Bailey to Hull City and manager Unai Emery needs a quality replacement.

Grealish is a target after his impressive stint at Everton last season.

Villa believe the England international attacker could offer much-needed depth in the wide areas as they prepare to impress in the Champions League next season.

Emery has lost Morgan Rogers and Youri Tielemans to Chelsea and Manchester United, respectively.

The Manchester City star played 20 games for Everton last season before injury struck in January.

He scored twice and weighed in with six assists, creating 38 chances and completing 573 passes.

Villa are not the only ones keeping tabs on the 30-year-old, with the Toffees also keen on signing him on loan again.

Atletico Madrid are also interested, while Al-Hilal, Al-Ahli and Neom want to lure him to the Saudi Pro League.

Grealish spent eight seasons at Villa after 11 years as an academy player, and a return could appeal to him.

He made 213 appearances, tallying 32 goals and 43 assists.

The attacker joined Man City for £100 million in 2021 but struggled with injuries before rediscovering his form at Everton.
