Everton are interested in signing Burnley forward Zian Flemming this summer.
Toffees manager David Moyes is desperate to bolster his attack, and Flemming is the latest player to be linked with Everton.
Flemming bagged 11 goals in 29 Premier League appearances last term but could not help keep Burnley up.
The 28-year-old Toffees target has hit the ground running in the Championship, notching a brace in the 2-2 draw against West Ham United on Sunday.
Clubs from Italy, France and the Netherlands also want Flemming.
Burnley are hoping to keep him to boost their chances of securing an immediate return to the Premier League at the end of the season.
Continuing his trade in the top-flight this season could appeal to the Dutchman, but Everton may need to table a juicy offer to have any chance of signing him.
They have also registered interest in Como attacker Assane Diao, while a bid for Tottenham Hotspur’s Richarlison has been lodged.
However, Spurs have rejected it as it is below their valuation. They are looking for at least £35 million to sell him.
Flemming will not cost as much and Everton could look to make a concrete move for him.
He is a brilliant finisher, with his aerial prowess, ability to score from direct free-kicks and hold on to the ball qualities the Merseyside club need.
