Everton offered Tottenham Hotspur £25 million for Djed Spence

Everton have reportedly offered Tottenham Hotspur £25 million to sign Djed Spence.

The Toffees and Liverpool want him, but Spurs want at least £35m to sanction a sale.

Liverpool manager Andoni Iraola wants to sign a right-back who can defend, while his Everton counterpart David Moyes is desperate to strengthen the position.

The 25-year-old is open to joining the Reds, but nothing concrete is happening right now as Iraola has other options on his radar.

Former Premier League stars Gary Neville and Ian Wright recently claimed that Spence was England’s best defender at the World Cup this summer.

He is not in Tottenham manager Roberto De Zerbi’s plans, but he is not short of suitors..

Spurs could demand more from interested clubs as Spence increased his value with his outstanding World Cup performances.

The Toffees also have Celtic’s Alistair Johnston and RB Leipzig’s Ridle Baku as targets and are looking to sign a player for around £25m.

Liverpool are always ready to splash the cash and will likely pip their city rivals to the Spurs star if it comes down to the money.
