Former Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Yves Bissouma offered to Chelsea

Chelsea have been offered the chance to sign former Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Yves Bissouma after missing out on Lamine Camara, according to the Sun.

The Blues came close to bringing Camara to the Stamford Bridge club on transfer deadline day. Moves for free agents have been mooted after the deal fell through.

They have reportedly enquired about Georginio Wijnaldum and have now been linked with Bissouma. He made 11 appearances for Spurs last season.

The 30-year-old was released this summer and is open to remaining in the Premier League.

It is unknown whether Chelsea will look to sign the former Brighton & Hove Albion star given his recent struggles.

Ajax and AS Monaco are keeping tabs on Bissouma, but the Blues could benefit from a player with 202 Premier League games under his belt if he can put his head down.

He was once arrested on suspicion of sexually assaulting a woman before being cleared of all allegations.

The Malian has been banned from driving in the United Kingdom on two occasions due to repeated speeding offences.

Spurs suspended Bissouma from the opening match of the 2024-25 season after he posted a video of himself inhaling nitrous oxide from a balloon on social media.
