Tottenham Hotspur attacker Dejan Kulusevski is hoping to return to the squad after the ongoing international break, according to the Sun.
Spurs visit Manchester United on October 10 when Premier League action resumes.
Kulusevski could be available for selection for the trip in a huge boost for Spurs having missed 500 days of action.
The Sweden international injured his right patella on May 11, 2025, two league games to the end of 2024-25.
He was expected to be back from the injury by the end of 2025, but he had to undergo surgery and he missed the entirety of last season as a result.
The 26-year-old also missed the World Cup but recently returned to training and is now nearing full fitness.
He is expected to return to action after the break and could even be included in the matchday squad against Man Utd if all goes well in the coming days.
It is unclear whether the trip to Manchester will come too soon for him, but manager Roberto De Zerbi could do with such a huge boost going forward.
The Italian is under pressure after a winless start to the 2026-27 Premier League campaign left the Lilywhites rock bottom of the league table.
Tottenham have drawn twice and lost their other three games, and having the creativity of Kulusevski available will be massive.
He bagged ten goals and 11 assists in 50 appearances in 2024-25 after ending 2023-24 with eight goals and three assists in 36 league appearances.
The Swede will be desperate to return to action and Spurs fans cannot wait to see him back on the pitch.
