Tottenham Hotspur attacker Mykhailo Mudryk spotted wearing protective boot following injury blow

Tottenham Hotspur have been dealt a huge injury blow after attacker Mykhailo Mudryk was recently spotted wearing a protective boot.

They signed the Ukrainian on loan from Chelsea and he made an appearance against Nottingham Forest at the weekend.

Mudryk was not spotted in Spurs’ most recent training video having picked up an injury. He is now expected to be sidelined until after this month’s international break.

The forward could end up spending an extended time on the sidelines judging by the photograph on social media.

Mudryk was out of action for almost two years following a ban, which was eventually overturned.

He featured briefly for Chelsea in pre-season before joining Spurs and reuniting with manager Roberto De Zerbi.

The 25-year-old is out of next Saturday’s Premier League game against Everton. He will also miss the League Cup game against Liverpool and the league clash with Aston Villa.

The Lilywhites return to action after the break against Manchester United on October 10, and De Zerbi will hope Mudryk is fit enough to return to action.

His appearance last Saturday was his first competitive match in 646 days, and he clearly needs time to return to fitness.

Tottenham are still in search of their first Premier League victory of 2026-27 following one draw and two defeats in their opening three games of the new campaign.

They are yet to score in the league and being without Mudryk is a massive blow.
