Arsenal attacker Christos Tzolis is expected to miss two or three weeks following an injury.
The Gunners are back in action next Saturday when they host Leeds United at Emirates Stadium.
However, they will be without the Greek international after he was withdrawn against the Netherlands in last night’s Nations League match.
The 24-year-old spent just 17 minutes in the 2-2 draw before he was taken off, and he is now expected to miss a couple of games.
It is a huge blow for Arsenal given how influential Tzolis has been since he arrived in the summer transfer window.
The left winger has weighed in with two assists in six games across the Premier League and Champions League.
He has started all five league games for the Gunners this term but will be unavailable for selection against Leeds.
The Greek forward is also likely to miss the Champions League games against Lille and Bayern Munich, and the league games against Nottingham Forest and Everton.
Fortunately for Arsenal, they have enough squad depth in attack, with Eberechi Eze able to step in after losing his starting berth this term.
The Gunners suffered a 3-0 defeat to Brighton & Hove Albion before the international break. They will be desperate to get back to winning ways against Leeds.
Kai Havertz and Martin Odegaard also picked up knocks during the international break but are expected to recover.
